We use this list to send you details about our annual festival (this includes information about how to participate, or put a show into the festival, as well as just about what to see) We email an average of once a month, except in the run-up to the festival when there's more to say in news and more recommendations. We occasionally include information about other events which we think you might find interesting, but we do not and will never share our list with other organisations, allow others to analyse data, sell names, etc. We ask for a postcode because it helps us to know where audiences come from, and it's possible that some information may be more useful to people in the immediate locality.

You can unsubscribe via the link on every mailing you will get from us (including one you will receive in just a moment to confirm that you're on the list).

BUSMS Presents: Oh What a Lovely War

by Joan Littlewood's Theatre Workshop

Devised by Joan Littlewood's Theatre Workshop, Charles Chilton, Gerry Raffles and Members of the Original Cast.
From the society that brought you the sell-out shows 'Rent', 'In The Heights' and 'Guys and Dolls', Bath University Student Musicals Society presents:
Oh What a Lovely War
- an epic musical first performed by Joan Littlewood's theatre group in the late 1950's. The show has since gone on to have several revivals, and there is also a film featuring an all-star cast including the likes of Maggie Smith.
Oh What a Lovely War aims to portray the realities and injustices of war, but in a way that is thought-provoking and satirical.
This exciting and ambitious production brings media, film, and musical theatre to together at the Arts Theatre in Bath University's arts complex, The Edge, and is not to be missed.
Tickets available on the Edge Arts website: £5 for students and concessions, £8 for Adults.
All of the ticket sales from these performances will be sent directly to our partner charities. These charities do excellent work in supporting those affected by war.
