We use this list to send you details about our annual festival (this includes information about how to participate, or put a show into the festival, as well as just about what to see) We email an average of once a month, except in the run-up to the festival when there's more to say in news and more recommendations. We occasionally include information about other events which we think you might find interesting, but we do not and will never share our list with other organisations, allow others to analyse data, sell names, etc. We ask for a postcode because it helps us to know where audiences come from, and it's possible that some information may be more useful to people in the immediate locality.

You can unsubscribe via the link on every mailing you will get from us (including one you will receive in just a moment to confirm that you're on the list).

Positive Poetry Presents

Twenty Something

Created & performed by Janey McLeod

Twenty Something is a series of emotive, comical and in part science-based poems woven together with snippets of stand-up and good news.
A one-person show written and performed by Janey Mcleod, "Twenty Something" takes us on the journey of a struggle to which we can all relate: figuring out life in our twenties. Through her words Janey paints a picture full of risk, courage, humour and ultimately a renewed hope that everything will, in fact, be okay in the end.

'Janey Mcleod captured her audience with a tale of ambition and strength, with vividly emotive descriptions her stage presence and delivery were a comforting hug, while her words pulled at the heart provocatively' Buddy Carson, Stand Up For Lyricism.
'Persuasive argumentation in a poem, it's art and science combined. It's brilliant!' Andy Kind, Comedian & Author
