Amy Tobias in
The Quantum Physics of My Heart
A comedy science lecture about growing up in the '90s
Using neither probability nor logic, Amy invites you to her comedy science lecture about growing up in the '90s. Inspired by her dad's work as a scientist, Amy has always tried to understand the world around her using science. Now, with the help of some complex scientific theories (not really), Amy grapples with the teenage experiences that shaped her, such as a) teacher crushes, b) best friend betrayals, c) an inappropriate advance from an older man and d) trying to be a good Jew.
An eccentric, inquisitive show about how we make sense of the world. Expect '90s bangers, some ultra-immersive group Hubba Bubba chewing and a test tube or two. Developed with support from JW3 and fresh from premiering at The VAULT Festival 2018.
"Amy is an enthusiastic pupil" (Mr Murray, Science teacher)

"Deliciously eccentric, ¦masterful comedy, and a whole lot of heart" (Arthur's Seat ****)
"Tons of charisma and more than just a hint of teen angst" (A Younger Theatre)
