We use this list to send you details about our annual festival (this includes information about how to participate, or put a show into the festival, as well as just about what to see) We email an average of once a month, except in the run-up to the festival when there's more to say in news and more recommendations. We occasionally include information about other events which we think you might find interesting, but we do not and will never share our list with other organisations, allow others to analyse data, sell names, etc. We ask for a postcode because it helps us to know where audiences come from, and it's possible that some information may be more useful to people in the immediate locality.

You can unsubscribe via the link on every mailing you will get from us (including one you will receive in just a moment to confirm that you're on the list).

The Little Things Theatre presents:

A Dog's Brexit

By Josie Hunt

"Have you heard of this curious word?
This word Brexit, it's really absurd.
Perhaps you've heard it in conversations,
On Facebook, TV or radio stations.
It sounds pretty nonsense, we don't understand,
I can try to explain, but I might need a hand.
Quite simply. It's British and exit as one.
British. Exit. Brexit. Done?
Maybe it's simpler to show you a land far away,
Bowwow Town where the dogs like to play"

An exciting new family show for children age 7+. A Dog's Brexit is a "Dr Seuss meets Animal Farm" portrayal of Britain's exit from the EU, filled with dogs, rhymes, songs and explanations that aim to speak directly to children. This play is an opportunity to re-live the events that led to Britain leaving the European Union, in a light-hearted and pun-filled way! The Little Things aim to stay neutral in the argument, presenting a variety of views, offering children and their families the opportunity to reflect without necessarily having to 'pick a side'. Join Barney Bulldog and his family, as they squabble and disagree about which way to vote, in a Dog-Eat-Dog world where the news and media is an unavoidable influence.
