We use this list to send you details about our annual festival (this includes information about how to participate, or put a show into the festival, as well as just about what to see) We email an average of once a month, except in the run-up to the festival when there's more to say in news and more recommendations. We occasionally include information about other events which we think you might find interesting, but we do not and will never share our list with other organisations, allow others to analyse data, sell names, etc. We ask for a postcode because it helps us to know where audiences come from, and it's possible that some information may be more useful to people in the immediate locality.

You can unsubscribe via the link on every mailing you will get from us (including one you will receive in just a moment to confirm that you're on the list).

The Edge Proudly Presents ..

Pee Wee Ellis

In conversation with Ian Shaw ..

Having mentored our students towards a sell-out showcase performance earlier this year, we are delighted to welcome Pee Wee Ellis back to campus...

This time we join the extraordinary composer, arranger and musician on the front porch; as we head back through the years.

In this special and intimate evening, legendary jazz vocalist Ian Shaw coaxes the stories from old friend and collaborator Pee Wee Ellis.

Images and music excerpts, laughter and the sound of crickets abound. Conjuring up a lifetimes pure musical adventure, experimental collaboration and pioneering work.

Not to be missed!

Please note this is not a live music event. Although Pee Wee will be playing some of his favorite recorded music.

This unique event may be recorded by Ronnie Scotts Radio & potentially broadcast by the following of their services; (Jazz FM/Jazz 90 (Rochester New York State) //Jazz radio Canada)
